I am using 18650 by Samsung.
But I have bad experience with LG batteries. I had it in a drawer, and one of them had a little leaking on the top. I thought that this cannot happen with 18650's since they're rechargable?

Leaking tops can happen to all batterys. it was proberly due to inpropper battery storage. Always store batterys in case or at VERY least a cap over the Pos. Metal/conductives can cause shorts.
    shorts = posable fire
Outa walls of batterys can be damaged/percied can cause leaks.

    Never use a Damaged battery

    Also.!!!!!
This has reminded me of somthing else My IQ a while back was killing me. Makeing me choak on low temp setttings I could not work it out and was ready to return it. On removing the battery i noticed some of the ink had run due to the heat of the oven, I then took ISO to all of my batterys and battery compartment. the BLACK i got off freaked me out . Tripple washed All batterys i vape with .

    No more issues now.

    So as standard I ALLWAYS
    ISO wash them berfore use
    Charge them fully before use
    store batterys properly

so is the general consensus that imr is the best place to buy batteries? i ordered from them before and it seemed to take a long time for the order to be processed and delivered. i don't mind waiting if they really are the best game in town but if there is another supplier that has quicker delivery times i would give them a try!

I just did an order with ilumn.com I have not ordered from them in over a year...but they have cool single silicone holders I need. So ordered more LG H2's as well. I will see how they do compared to IMR which I normally use....for shipping times. Probably be the same.

These are the only places I order batteries from.

    Ilumn.com LG H2's

    imr.com LG H2's

Anyone try Efest batteries? Those are the only ones I’ve used and had great success with them....but haven’t seen too many comment on these. Has anyone tried them and can compare to the HG2 or VTC5/6?

That's good to know. I'm a novice and didn't know what to choose, so I chose Sony's which made me realize I I must posses some subconscious preference for Japanese over Korean products?

Anyone know if this site is legit for batteries?

    https://www.dashvapes.com/

I ordered the charger Bud recommended and 2 LGH2's from them without really thinking about it since options are limited in Canada.

    This is just my opinion.

    VTC6: Best 3000mAh for CDR
VTC5D Best (Highest) mAh for highest CDR (2700-2800mAh)
Samsung 30r Best (Highest) CDR for best mAh (2200mAh)

Dang man my batteries take forever to show from IMR to California.

Tesla's use these! Of course, fire and batteries are always problematic.
