Funkyjunky & Arctic Firmware for Splinter & StemPod Mods
I don't know anything about dna mods, but I do know that if you purchase software-approved mods, you can update to funkyjunky's or Arctic Fox firmware for TCR mode implementation. Being in the microdosing category, wattage, also called power, mode, suffices for me. The only benefit for me in upgrading would be the ability to not have my mod time out after 10 secs. I would like to have it run for 15 - 20 secs before timing out. But realistically, I can just depress the fire button to get those add'l. seconds. But for those with good lungs who really like long draws & big clouds & want the delivery to be comfortable & enjoyable without hacking your lungs out, the advantages of upgrading is well-founded.
So maybe those currently using, or have used either of these firmwares with their Splinter, & who are interested in using them when they get their Splinters & StemPods, or those that just have questions about how they work, can post here & maybe we can get a solid discussion going so we can all understand the functioning & implementation of this software. I for one would like more than my current cursory understanding. So, here are the links.
Approved mods are listed here.
And for anyone who has a fluent understanding of this esoteric mod stuff/coils, you might find this site interesting, but I truly don't know, because I'm not one of those. It's just a link I've been saving:
Now here are FC links I saved for future reference touching on using the aforementioned software with the Splinter -- & I think a tad about wattage/power mode(?). Links just posted in date order.
