    Two different strains:

    1003181749a.jpg

This is about .03 of fine grind. In the next (hopefully last) prototype, the fine grind is supposed to be even finer. And the coarse is supposed to be a little less coarse.

per FC looks like its only shipping to specific addresses...(ie. they're not ready yet or they have website issues)...it doesnt work for me in san francisco. :worry:

Anyone here use the revised fine plate? Does it get clogged? I read from @lazylathe the older fine plate does get clogged. Maybe this is something unavoidable.

The fine plate does not clogged, it just had an issue with flow through. Some bits of herb were left in the too plate.
I have yet to try the final plates but should receive them in a week or so.

The new fine plate apparently corrects this and is a non issue.

I've been using the medium plate, but the coarse would be fine also.

@lazylathe its just funny to hear you say that. 100cad isnt really cheap i mean i get that it's cheaper because of conversion but its still steep to the ones that live here

Don't think anyone said its cheap....ITS EXPENSIVE!! haha. But I bought one. This will be my first expensive grinder purchase. Hopefully it turns out to be excellent. Hopefully it will be my last grinder purchase. If that's true then it being expensive is fine by me.
It's +/- $20 from top tier grinders, so long as it performs as such....

@415vapor just the way lazylathe mentioned that it was in canadian dollars made me chuckle thats all because 100 cad to you is cheaper. Just some international humour to me im not trying to be rude or anything. I find it funny that there is an exchange rate it just seems like so much extra work and fuckery. Im sure it makes sense though i jist dont care to go down that rabbit hole.

Lol! People spend $500+ on a vape without question but a $100 grinder is too expansive.
It's a good bit of kit made with high quality material, made in Canads by Canadians.
    I like that.

Definitely interested to hear how people are linking this one. Think it may be my next grinder, I've been looking for a good 3-piece.

Ordered myself one today with a medium and fine plate. Hope to see more 3 piece options in the future.

I've been rocking my space case sans the screened section but using the shallow keif collection area for bud is kinda a pain for larger ammounts.

How come nobody's telling what color they ordered!!

Bought the fine and medium plates :ok:

@Dr green thumb, none of the beta testers have the final production grinder yet. This last prototype went directly into production. Supposedly, those who ordered & the beta-testers won't have there's for as long as 3 - 4 weeks if the website shipping time is right.

    @Will90, they are anodized.

anyone get theirs yet? I’m debating ordering one.

My large Santa Cruz shredder gets dirty so quick.

The xl shredder is much better or my lift grinder is amazing but too small!

I did, but I am one of very few and have been posting over in FC. They ran into anodization issues and were only able to send out [imo] a handful. I'd wait until their backlog clears. I predict mid-late January because of the holiday period. Just my prediction! You'll want to ask the mfg to get their ETA.

I'm still putting it thru its paces, but initial thoughts are that it's built really well, has an even/consistent grind and has some amazing features. Yet another Grinder (YAG) much like YAV- why do you want this one? You buy this for its features. All magnetic design is a huge one for me. Ergonomic feel with how the end pieces are domed feels great in the hand. Changeable grind plates (with no retaining clips to deal with). Completely customizable colors is a plus for some (me). Made entirely in Canada including the anodizing and out of 7075 Al. And more that I can't think of right now...lol. Or screw all that, you just suffer from GrAS!! I'm still testing it out...... to quickly answer the dirty-ness question i have to ask a question  - how sticky/wet is your bud? not even the SLX comes out spotless. Initial tests with 3/8 herb on the dry side (not bone/brittle dry, just not moist/sticky like my other batch), the grinder came out VERY clean. The anodization is smooth enough to act as a non-stick surface. My goal is to run 5/8 of sticky in it to have run a full oz thru it without cleaning. I can tell you also the dry herb would have stuck and been messy on my other grinder. Remember when Bud ran the super moist herb thru the SS grinder, well its my belief that result would have occurred on all the grinders. So really I think the Q is what you're working with and there is probably a line to which non-stick performs at.

    Picture time!

Been waiting for this one so I appreciate your write-up! At this point, I'll most likely wait for them to clear out their back-log before ordering.

As a newly minted MV1 convert, I was pretty set on getting the medium plate but after seeing your pics I think the fine plate may be the way to go - looks consistent and fluffy.

I like a fine grind due to surface area theory. I'd read up on how the mv1 handles a fine grind tho. I know it can take it but probably needs a very loose pack. i think the norm for it is "medium." the great thing about this grinder is the interchangeable plates. i bought both the medium and fine. i have not used the medium yet since my preference is to go as fine as the vape allows.
