Just about to put on WandaVision on Disney +. Its a weird show, but I like how everything connects and the storylines intertwine with the Marvel Universe. Curious what others think of the show, I like it, but its definitely different. 1st 2-3 episodes took a bit to get into.
Anyone else watching or know of some good newer shows?
I recently finished Vikings, and I loved that show for some reason thought had good writers.
Anyone else hooked on all the gold prospecting and treasure hunting shows?
Gold Rush Alaska, Bering sea gold, Bering sea under the ice, White water, Devils canyon, Ice cold gold, Croc gold, Yucon gold, Jungle gold, Dave Turin's spin off, Freddie Dodge's mine rescue, Aussie gold .....
And The curse of oak island, Curse of the civil war gold, Mystery at blind frog ranch, Coopers treasure, Billion dollar wreck ....
I've got quite a large watch list tbh lol
Recent additions (that I've started watching) :
Resident Alien
The Flight Attendant
Not started (but the internets have recommended):
The Expanse
Your Honour
Anyone watch Border Security, Ice Road Truckers, Highway Thru Hell, Cabin Truckers?.... I was a video editor on them for a while. Yes, I worked on some of the shittiest shows in existence. They can be fun to watch though if you're bored enough.
Edit: btw.. watching the raw video footage is a lot more exciting than watching the shows.. they don't include some of the best footage because of legal issues!!
I used to watch the Ice Road Truckers.. those people are crazy when everything starts to thaw and you are driving an 80,000lb rig or whatever... lol thats cool you got to work on these types of projects.
I thought they wrapped that show very well... — Hapo
I have a hard time with favorite shows of mine ending, but I agree. That was a decent one, it always left the door open for a comeback.:naughty:
Yup, I'm hooked on Oak Island too, could it be...lol. Yeah, Your Honor, awesome, loved it. It will have you edge of seat, just great acting all around. If you looking also, very good show on Showtime but think you might be able to get it on Amazon, it's with Kevin Bacon. It's called "City on a hill", Matt Damon and Ben Affleck co produced it. Its 1 season and 2nd season comes on March 28th I think.
Oak Island, Templars? Anyone think it's the spoils of the Titus raid or the US used the gold there to fund the Revolutionary war? My father and I are hooked from the 1st season...lol. I find it fascinating that they finding stuff from 1400's and the large construction it would have taken to do what they did in that island so long ago.
And think the Island has had many residents since it's construction by the Templars, including pirates that probably stashed some gold there, some of which was found by Samuel Ball and the 2 guys that went on to setup the railroad and the logging company with their share while Samuel stayed and bought more land locally.
haha...yes I agree it was most likely used over time by many, including pirates etc...I do believe there is a purpose at one point in history where it was used to hide historical artifacts or documents. Now whether they were looted already hopefully we will find out. I just don't want it to be another Al Capone's Vault with Geraldo Rivera...lmao. If that's the case, I wasted how many season or years watching Oak Island...lol.
